An intimate understanding of the impact of good marketing on charitable causes, has allowed Media In Action to raise awareness and inspire people to contribute to some truly worthwhile causes. Media In Action worked closely with the Customs 4 Cancer team in their quest to raise $1 million for Cancer Council Australia. Our services included launching the campaign, raising awareness, and driving donations.
We kicked off the campaign by producing a dedicated photo and video shoot supported by a host of A-list Australians affected by the disease, including Mark Ruffo, Jess Eva and Tim Mannah. The photos and videos we used on the website created, which also included interviews with doctors, testimonies, and raffle ticket sales.All content was also leveraged for an extensive digital marketing campaign – driven by a series of successful Instagram posts and Facebook ads.The campaign was further complemented with a PR plan that saw a number of published print pieces and two key TV placements. Celebrity ambassador relationships developed and garnered ongoing coverage and following on social media.Media coverage was secured in key local newspapers as well as mainstream channels, including Studio 10 and Sunrise 7. With this multi-channel campaign, Media In Action helped Customs 4 Cancer raise an average amount of $100,000 per month.
